Finn in Detail -

Finn is a gorgeous white cat orange flame-point markings that have been darkening for the last 2 months. His ears are prominently orange and he has orange rings on his tail. He also has a few other places that are developing pale orange markings . He has pale blue eyes.

Finn and Phoebus are together constantly and are very entertaining. They seem to get into a lot of silly trouble and bring a lot of joy into the environment. Neither cat has shown any aggressive tendencies.

Finn’s personality is a bit more dominant than his brother's. Finn unashamedly steals food from any other cats. He also seems to get into more mischievous situations. One of his silly traits is that he seeks out sandy spots in the yard and rolls in the dirt! The children’s story "Harry the Dirty Dog" comes to my mind whenever it has been discovered that he has rolled in the dirt. After his dirt bath he appears to be a light gray cat and will need to be washed down with a cloth, which is an annoyance to him, and he will fight you about being bathed.

Because Finn and Phoebus look so much alike, we found it necessary to purchase different colored collars for them so that we could easily identify who each cat is.

Both cats appear to be of big build and will most likely bulk up a great deal now that they are neutered.

Both cats are trained to come for food at the sound of two metal feeding bowls being tapped together. When they hear the bowls, they will immediately go to the kennel where their food is supplied and wait for their meal.

Both cats respond to a spray water bottle when being corrected. If they climb on a surface they should not be on they will jump down at the sound of the water bottle trigger being activated.

Because we had some inquiries from suspicious individuals wanting to rehome them, their rehoming information was pulled off of the social media pages until we could figure out a way to better evaluate any potential owners. We never expected to keep them as long as they have been here. They need a home as soon as possible so that bonding will occur more easily with their new owners.
