Tabitha in Detail -

Tabitha is independent, quiet, and does not demand attention of any sort until she is very serious about what she wants. She absolutely does NOT want to be held or carried. But she will come to you, in her quiet and gentle way, seeking attention and asking to be petted. Often likes to nap on the bed with human companionship.

Because she is so intentional about seeking attention or affection, she appears to be very intelligent. She is another cat that it would probably be fun to experiment with use Fluent Pet buttons.

Tabitha grew up playing with toys and playing laser light games with my husband several times a day. She does love to interact with humans in this way, and play time seems to be the way to her heart. She loves being among the family but does not like to be smothered or confined in any way (although she loves to make tunnels under the bedcovers). Though she really enjoys the comfort of being in the house, she seems to be equally as fulfilled when she is allowed ample time outside where she can chase bugs and capture lizards and baby frogs.

Tabitha is a hunter and will bring you as many lizards as she can find in a day. This instinct may be connected to her preference for plain meat. She will not eat ANY canned food that I have attempted to feed her, but she absolutely loves cooked chicken and raw beef.

Since she has lived all of her life in a multi-cat household, Tabitha would probably do better being adopted along with a sibling or her mother. She does not get along with any other cats in the household except for her own family, and sometimes initiates squabbles with our family cats.
